Edu Aid Program
Launched in 2024, our Edu Aid Program sponsors students at St. Felix Minor Seminary, Greenfield International School, Oluyole Private Int'l Comprehensive College, and Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School across Delta, Oyo, and Ogun States, Nigeria, covering fees, textbooks, and the hidden costs that keep kids out of school.

Why education
The giving started small and close to home. Food and shelter for neighbours through the Downtown Mission, then relief for families rebuilding after the earthquake in Haiti. Every gift met a real need in the moment it landed.
But one need kept returning, the kind a single gift could not close. So the focus narrowed to school: carrying young people through the last and most fragile year of their education alongside Chalice and Food for the Hungry, from Kenya and Ghana to Uganda, and now four schools across Delta, Oyo, and Ogun States in Nigeria.
It comes down to the small costs that quietly end a classroom story before it finishes: fees, books, a uniform. Cover those, and a student stays. A student who stays becomes a graduate, and a graduate lifts the whole household behind them.
How it works
Every sponsorship follows the same careful path: find the student, fund what school actually costs, stay involved, and watch the impact spread.

An unforgettable trip to Nigeria where I witnessed our students' achievements and the true impact of our mission.
We launched our Edu Aid Program for the 2024/2025 academic session, sponsoring four underprivileged secondary school students in Nigeria.
Edufi is a Canadian not-for-profit organization that empowers underprivileged communities through education, sustainable development, and faith-based compassion. Its flagship Edu Aid Program sponsors secondary school students across Delta, Oyo, and Ogun States in Nigeria.
100% of donations reach the cause. Gifts cover tuition, school fees, uniforms, textbooks, transportation, and exam costs for students enrolled in the Edu Aid Program. Edufi does not take overhead from donor gifts.
Edufi is based in Canada and partners with schools in Delta, Oyo, and Ogun States, Nigeria. The organization also supports beneficiaries in Kenya and Ghana through Chalice and Food For The Hungry.
You can donate online at eduficanada.com/donate, share Edufi's story, volunteer, or attend fundraising events such as the annual Praise & BBQ rooftop gathering in Hamilton, Ontario.
